We stayed for 2 nights here, loved Gruz district. Liked that the honesty bar was working.
-
The breakfast was fresh and the staff was loyal. Gruz district deserves to be explored. Liked this Berkeley Hotel & Day Spa.

It's decent place for visiting some must see attractions in Dubrovnik. The restaurant was located within 400 metres. Views were pretty! By the way, parking fee equals €5 per day.
No negatives from this place.

The hotel was not within the old town but was so easy to get in by bus or taxi that it didn't matter.Modern rooms with large bed and good storage. Good power showers. The staff were all very helpful and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was much better than we thought wth good coffee options of cappuncino etc
Beakfast ended at 9.30am no good if you want a lie in.
-
The hotel is clean and comfortable with reasonably sized rooms. There is a good bus service to the old city (8 kn per trip) otherwise it is about 30 mins on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking is free. Breakfast was generally very good. Excellent value for money.
Although breakfast was good, the (tinned) fruit cocktail and diluted fruit juices (apple and orange) were below the general standard and could be better. Our booking was at a daily rate in euros but I was surprised that the hotel required payment in Kuna. I could not find this requirement in my Booking details. This was disappointing.

I received lots of helpful information before my arrival. The transfers was very comfortable and effecient. The hotel arranged a boat trip for us although expensive it was a beautiful boat and we had a wonderful tour of the islands. The restaurant recommendations were all lovely. The hotel is family run and we we were made to feel very welcome.
-
Everything from arrival to departure.Especially the breakfast! Staff are exeptionally friendly and very efficient, with daily recommends for restaurants and trips.Although the hotel is a few minutes walk from the old town. The bus runs every ten minutes and at £1 (8kn) each way is no hardship.
-
The staff were all lovely and willing to help with all/any enquires we had about Dubrovnik, surrounding locations and transport. The rooms were also nice, spacious enough and clean
The staff were very nice, helpful and all spoke English well. I really enjoyed the fact that it had an 'Aussie' feel to it, as I am Australian

I liked the use of the free Internet. The hotel was conveniently located to a few bus stops, one bus stop being across the street.
The hotel staff aren't the friendliness of people but I think that is how they are. Breakfast times are from 7am to 9am and we overslepted one morning until 9h30 and they didn't offer us even a piece of toast.

Excellent value for money hotel with very friendly and efficient staff in all areas and easy access to the front door. The rooms and pubic areas are bright, modern and spotlessly clean. We also had a good size bathroom with an excellent shower. The hotel is on quite a busy road, but our room had very good soundproofing and air conditioning. The lovely first floor swimming pool was a surprise extra with great views. Breakfast was good, offering cooked items in addition to a small buffet. I had a very good omlette and service was excellent. Its a very short walk to the bus stop where buses run every 10 minutes or so into the Old Town of Dubrovnik. There are deals to be had on the busfares, remember to ask at reception. Why not stay right in the Old Town? A hotel of this quality would cost at least twice as much. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Pillows could have been better.

Good location. Easy walk to old town and good beaches. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely big room with a beautiful view! Big bathroom. Nice brerakfast!
Pool was closed. Internet not working in room. 1000 channels on the tv and none of them were english. Or even croatian! Fridge was leaking. Sink was leaking. Uncomfortable bed!

The friendly, capable, and well-informed staff were exceptional. The premises are spotless. It's in a quiet area. There's a swimming pool. The rooms have terraces. Breakfast only. It's within a ten-minute walk (part uphill) from the main bus station; a post office is along the way. It's a three-minute walk down steps from a city bus stop to the Old Town, atm machines, cafes and restaurants. The ride to the Old Town takes l5 minutes. If you are in good health, be sure to walk around the Old Town's walls (1.6 miles, lots of steps), a spectacularly beautiful experience. Other tip: The Rupe, or ethnographic museum, is very attractive. It shows folk objects, countryside artifacts, costumes, etc in a very old, massive stone building that was a former granary (as you will see from the giant storage holes on the entrance floor), set up to prevent starvation no matter what. The local churches and museums won't take you long to get through; it's the city experience that is memorable.

Everything was good about this hotel, the staff was really nice. Breakfast was also good and we had a choice of hot breakfast as well included. The pool was clean and quite. We were on our honeymoon and we were given a free bottle of wine in our room! Hotel is in a really quite area, easy to find and perfect if you are getting by ferry since it s only 5 minute walk. Bus stop is also 5 minute walk from hotel.
Maybe if we could have an iron in the room, but on the whole everything was ok.

The waitress/cleaner Anna-maria was very friendly and a great asset to the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent. The pool is a great addition to the hotel. Cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms was very good, and I would highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel manager was abrupt, business was business with her, not very friendly.
